This is how the jury judged feratel's Concierge app PIA at the eAwards 2020 in Vienna. CTO Dr. Hager accepted the award in the category Business and Tourism at the gala event on January 29, 2020.

The decision has been made: as part of a tender process, pixelpoint multimedia werbe GmbH has been awarded the contract to implement a content and data hub for Rhineland-Palatinate Tourism GmbH (RPT). The implementation will take place together with dataCycle GmbH.

Collecting tourism data from a destination (which are copyright-free and designated as such) in a database – according to defined standards – and making this data freely available to all market participants via a widget and interface is the core idea of open data.

Individually tailored to the interests and the period of stay, the PIA – the Personal Interests’ Assistant from feratel – will delight guests from 20 well-known tourism destinations in the D-A-CH-LI area (German-language speaking region).
