TVB Pitztal relies on feratel’s smart destination management

Two feratel solutions are already in use in Pitztal when it comes to the registration system and guest card. In the future, the entire information and reservation process, including the online booking process, will run via feratel. By switching to the feratel Deskline® destination management system, tourism professionals have an all-in-one solution whose products work perfectly together.

“We are very proud that we were able to convince TVB Pitztal to use our booking system and that we can include another top destination among our Deskline® customers. With Pitztal, 31 of the 34 tourism associations in Tyrol are now working with our system,” remarks Markus Schröcksnadel, CEO of feratel media technologies AG.

Preparations for going live are currently underway. The first step is to set up a central database and interconnect with individual service providers. In addition, training courses take place on site. Online sales of the PITZ member card for employees of Pitztal tourism companies will start before the summer. The booking system for accommodation will go live in the 2023/24 winter season.

In the future, the TVB booking center will have a modern system with Deskline®, where the entire offer from accommodation to experiences in connection with the guest card will be displayed on a platform and made bookable. Billing of commissions and local taxes will also take place directly via Deskline®. And interfaces to sales portals such as can be used. With the online sale of the PITZ member card, we can also offer our operations an important tool for employee retention in good time for the summer season.”

TVB Pitztal has a powerful one-stop shop with Deskline®, CRM functions and a business intelligence module as well as interfaces to sales portals such as, HomeToGo, Holidu, bestfewo, Airbnb, Check24 or, and also to experience providers such as Fareharbor, BookingKit, Skidata, Waldhart or Regiondo.

The Pitztal tourism industry thus benefits throughout the entire customer journey – from the provision of all information, such as the opening times of infrastructure facilities, current events with ticket bookings via online booking of accommodation and experiences, digital transfer of the booking data to the registration system with online check-in and digital signature for the automated issue of a guest card. The numerous usage data are processed via data warehouse technology and evaluated with the integrated business intelligence tools, thus providing valuable information for Pitzal’s future marketing plan.
