Rheinland Pfalz uses pixelpoint “dataCycle” content hub

The decision has been made: as part of a tender process, pixelpoint multimedia werbe GmbH has been awarded the contract to implement a content and data hub for Rhineland-Palatinate Tourism GmbH (RPT). The implementation will take place together with dataCycle GmbH.

“We want to reach our guests anytime and anywhere with relevant and high-quality content, regardless of the channel. The basis for this is the Rhineland-Palatinate digital knowledge base, which contains the tourism infrastructure and tourism offers of the state. The content hub allows us to combine content from different source systems in a database, optimize its quality, prepare it for machine readability, curate it and import it into different sales channels “, says Stefan Zindler, Managing Director of RPT.

In addition to the data hub itself, the scope of services also includes HTML widgets so that the stored content can be easily visualized and passed on.

“The application for the order was made under consideration of realizing a lighthouse project in the field of Smart destination management together with co-owner feratel,” explains Bernhard Winkler, Managing Director of dataCycle GmbH.
