feratel becomes an Associate Member of the European Travel Commission
feratel media technologies AG is now an Associate Member of the European Travel Commission (ETC). The official admission took place during the ETC’s 111th General Meeting in Kotor.
With this admission, feratel joins an international network of leading companies and organisations in the European tourism sector. Alongside renowned partners such as Booking.com, GetYourGuide and Skyscanner, feratel was welcomed as a new Associate Member.
At the meeting in Kotor, a total of 33 countries were represented by the CEOs of their national tourism organisations. Numerous international companies and organisations also took part, including Amadeus, Aviareps, Hiseas International, Mastercard, Miles Partnership, Queerdestinations, Rail Europe, Resonance, Sojern, Rome2Rio, Tiki and Kingfisher.
The European Travel Commission is regarded as a central platform for cooperation between European tourism organisations. It brings together destinations, market data, innovations and international tourism promotion, and creates a space for dialogue on the future of European tourism. The focus is on topics such as digitalisation, data quality, smart visitor information, sustainable visitor management and greater networking between destinations.
