10 becomes 1: A new content hub for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as a key tool in tourism

The new content hub for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is intended to help bundle relevant information and resources in the tourism sector and make them easy to visualise and transfer in a hub. The Data Hub is being realised by datacycle, a pixelpoint company in which feratel has held a stake since 2019.

"We currently draw on information from ten different databases for our work. Bundling this information on a content hub is extremely useful as it saves time and shares knowledge at the same time," says Tobias Woitendorf, tourism commissioner for the state and managing director of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourism Association.

feratel CEO Markus Schröcksnadel is delighted with the new project: "The pixelpoint and dataCycle team around CEO Bernhard Winkler delivers excellent work. They are conquering the German market right now."

The new BayernCloud Tourismus, for example, uses their technology, and the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Brandenburg also rely on the expert knowledge of datacycle and pixelpoint.
